Why have we imported this danger? Why won’t the ABC discuss it? | Herald Sun Andrew Bolt Blog

Why have we imported this danger? Why won’t the ABC discuss it? | Herald Sun Andrew Bolt Blog

Australian Labor is following UK labors policy on
immigration. That is to throw open the doors so to speak and change
social makeup of our society in order to ‘rub the rights noses’ into
diversity and render all future arguments out of date.

Their strategy revolves around the opinion that all these migrants will be left wing supporters.

However in the UK. this has got well and truly out of hand with the
Muslim population now reaching around 2.5 million and growing rapidly.

Islam is now the fastest growing religion over there and on track to become the dominant religion within the next decade.

One doesn’t need a crystal ball to see Englands future. A future where
there is no left or right, no England, just Islam and sharia.(No wonder
Scotland wants to become independent)

The same will eventually happen here unless we are very careful.

AS for the ABC. At the moment they still answer to Russel St. and Labors
racial vilification laws which are designed to prevent any adverse
discussion on this topic.

ABC: Whoring for the ALP. Isn't that what fucking when there's money involved called? Public money in this case.

Is there a reason the ABC seems so cavalier about government waste? | Herald Sun Andrew Bolt Blog

And all charged to the taxpayer - along with billions for other Labor follies and grandeurs not criticised by the ABC:

PANICKED ABC management believed star newsreader Juanita Phillips left them in a “tricky” position after blindsiding them over her controversial $72,000 taxpayer-funded European first class trip with Labor lover Greg Combet

Emails reveal the $320,000-a-year star only told her superiors about the
10-day climate change ministerial trip with Mr Combet, who held the
portfolio at the time, through France, Germany and Belgium last year
upon her return and after it was raised with the Gillard government.

But ABC head of editorial policy Alan Sunderland instead planned to tell
the public the ABC 24 host and Sydney news anchor had “always been
upfront and clear” with the ABC about the romance…

The ABC attempted to downplay the lack of prior knowledge of the trip,
saying Ms Phillips did not have to seek permission, that it was later
found to be within ABC guidelines anyway and that the broadcaster had
always provided a “high degree of transparency” dealing with the
issue...”

Six months after ABC chiefs plotted how to handle the romance’s
conflict-of-interest concerns, it was revealed the 10-day trip racked up
$57,673 on airfares, $8914 on hotels and meals and $4634 on ground
transport for Mr Combet to attend meetings and a climate conference.

How did Phillips think she was morally entitled to spend so much
taxpayers’ money on a jaunt, and one that compromised her responsibility
as an ABC presenter to seem impartial?

The emails:

FROM: Juanita Phillips

TO: Alan Sunderland; Donald Lange

SUBJECT: Daily Tele

Dear Alan and Don,

Just alerting you to another spotfire. Recently while on annual leave, I
accompanied Greg — in a private capacity, as his partner — to Europe
where he was having climate change meetings and was the keynote speaker
at an EU carbon price conference. The Daily Tele has got onto this and
is going to make something of it.

The Prime Minister’s office has go

ne over the trip with a fine toothcomb
and says all guidelines have been adhered to, and they’re very
comfortable defending it. Ministers are entitled to have their partners
travel with them, subject to strict guidelines, and approval by the
Prime Minister’s office. Both of these criteria have been met.

There’s no suggestion of anything inappropriate — presumably it will
just be the usual beat-up about politicians’ overseas trips. From my
point of view, I was on annual leave, and my role was purely personal.

I’m not sure when this story will appear, but hopefully it will blow over in a day.

Let me know if you want to have a chat about it.

Cheers

Juanita

SUBJECT: RE: I have some questions for the ABC in relation to Juanita Phillips

Heads up — the expected story looks like it’s on the way.

It’s a little tricky, because we are being specifically asked if we were aware of the trip in advance.

I have discussed all this at length with Sally Cray and what she will be saying (via email) to (the journalist) is:-

*We are aware of the situation

*Juanita was on leave at the time.

*She is perfectly entitled to travel with her partner, and we understand
Mr Combet is also perfectly entitled to travel with an accompanying
partner on such trips.

*Juanita has always been upfront and clear about her relationship with the ABC.

*As with all other situations with ABC editorial staff, we consider and
manage conflicts as they arise. We do not believe that legitimate
private like this creates an editorial conflict.

Went with Mick and Alan’s advice that less is more on this one. We
figured he has the story written and these will be three lines at the
end.

I didn’t insert the no editorial conflict line as I thought — better to
play dead in case he has something in his story we are not aware of.

Opposition says MP Bernard Finnigan’s parliamentary contribution ‘inadequate’ since being charged with child pornography offences

Bernard Finnigan sits in SA Parliament’s Upper House.

The South Australian Opposition says the contribution of Independent MP Bernard Finnigan in State Parliament has been inadequate since he was charged with child pornography offences.
The Opposition says 1,000 days have now passed since Finnigan was arrested and resigned as a Government minister.
Shadow Attorney-General Stephen Wade says records show Finnigan has made just two speeches in Parliament since then and has asked no questions nor moved any private member’s motions.
He says Finnigan has been entitled to almost $1 million in salary, superannuation, staffing and other entitlements and has a duty to do his job.
“Mr Finnigan is entitled to stay on the job but he should do the job,” he said.
“I suppose an analogy here is that of Mr Thompson in the Federal Parliament, Mr Thompson was in the Federal Parliament all last year after criminal charges had been laid he made numerous parliamentary contributions.”
Finnigan has pleaded not guilty and is awaiting a ruling as to whether his charges will be stayed.

His lawyer is on leave.

Mr Finnigan is a member of the Legislative Council and his term will expire in 2018.

Senator Eric Abetz, the Minister for Employment on Victoria's Supreme Court, Police and trade unions - Michael Smith News

Senator Eric Abetz, the Minister for Employment on Victoria's Supreme Court, Police and trade unions - Michael Smith News

The
law needs to be enforced, whenever it is broken. All of us will recall
the horrific scenes of lawlessness on the streets of Melbourne in August
2012. The conduct itself was bad enough, but what made it even more
contemptible was that it involved a deliberate breach of orders of the
Supreme Court. It is hard to imagine a more flagrant display of contempt
for the rule of law.
The
old truism says that “Justice Delayed is Justice Denied”. While I am
conscious of the separation of the executive government from the
judiciary, I trust there were good and cogent reasons why it took nine
months for the Supreme Court to reach a decision that the CFMEU was
guilty of contempt of court. There are no doubt equally good and cogent
reasons why it is taking another nine months for the court to hand down
its penalty. Suffice to say I find it difficult to explain these delays
to those that may be minded to seek the protection of the law and
desperately need speedy resolution of their issues.
For
most of us, the notion of compliance with the law is simply taken as a
given. Unfortunately, however, the building industry contains a number
of participants who take a different approach. Their attitude is to be
as well-behaved as they feel they need to be. So when laws are not
effectively enforced there is a downward spiral of lawlessness.
In
light of the many revelations of unlawful conduct over the past month, I
have taken a close interest in the responses of the various bodies
responsible for upholding the range of laws that apply to the building
industry. In particular, I have noted the absence of Police involvement
in situations that one might ordinarily think would attract their
interest.
Police
leadership have claimed it is due to factors such as a lack of
resources or lack of evidence. Whatever the explanation is, I hope it is
not another factor on their part which is equally crucial - a lack of
will. It would be disturbing if crimes of corruption or violence that
would immediately be jumped on if they occurred anywhere else go
unpunished just because they occur on a building site. Nobody would want
to conclude that a mentality at the higher levels of Police to “keep
the peace” rather than “uphold the law” has in some way encouraged an
increase in such behaviour.
If
a person were to enter uninvited to a private residence, or a
commercial premises in another industry, block access to the site and
intimidate its occupants, that conduct would be reported to Police and
Police would act. But if that person happens to be a union
representative and the location is a building site, then that conduct is
considered to be different, only because it has the label of an
“industrial dispute”. I do not want to see a perverse culture
surrounding this industry which discourages victims to complain to
Police, or seeks ways to excuse the conduct of perpetrators.
I
dare say that if Police Command in Flinders Street were to suddenly
find its driveways blocked, its doors picketed and staff on site
threatened and abused, then those matters would be very quickly and
effectively dealt with. Those responsible would be left in no doubt that
such conduct is completely unacceptable. This is as it should be. The
problem is that every other Victorian workplace should be treated the
same way. As the CFMEU likes to say, “One Law For All”.

ASIC gives up on Offset Alpine mystery | The Australian

ASIC gives up on Offset Alpine mystery | The Australian

THE corporate regulator has given up
the fight to uncover the mystery of who owned a secret parcel of Offset
Alpine shares that soared in value after a fire at the company's
printing plant in 1993 - one of the biggest corporate scandals in recent
history.

The Australian Securities & Investments Commission has decided
to end overseas court cases and its wider investigation into deceased
stockbroker Rene Rivkin, businessman Trevor Kennedy and former Labor
politician Graham Richardson.

After the death of Rivkin in 2005,
Mr Kennedy, a former Qantas director, and Mr Richardson, an ALP
powerbroker, became the focus of the legal pursuit.

In recent years, ASIC had tried, unsuccessfully, to obtain documents which may have linked offshore companies to Mr Kennedy.

ASIC's
decision to end its legal actions leaves Mr Richardson and Mr Kennedy
in the clear. Both have always denied ownership of the parcel of shares.

ASIC will not recommend any criminal charges be laid and no fines will be imposed.

The backdown comes after ASIC spent millions of dollars on a global
hunt in countries such as England, Switzerland, the Bahamas and the Isle
of Man in a bid to determine whether it could gather enough evidence to
lay charges of perjury or other civil charges relating to the
shareholding. But in a recent court judgment obtained by The Weekend
Australian, ASIC was criticised in one legal action for changing its
position, which was described as "at best, highly confused, inconsistent
and deeply unsatisfactory on the papers".

***

The opening scene – be it fact or fiction – is Christmas Eve 1993; an
old printing plant in Silverwater goes up in smoke. It’s one of those
rare nights in the year the presses aren’t running, so there’s no one at
work to put out the fire. The thermal alarm is triggered at 11.04 pm,
and five minutes later, by the time the first engine arrives, the blaze
is so fierce it’s too late to stop it. With wooden pallets, rolls of
paper and gallons of flammable solvents to fuel the conflagration,
orange flames light up the sky for miles around. By daybreak, the roof
has collapsed and $3 million worthf of printing plant has been
destroyed.

In the aftermath, anyone who is lucky enough to hold
Offset Alpine shares gets a lovely Christmas present, because the
antiquated presses are insured for more than ten times their actual
value. Two months before the fire, the company has upgraded its
insurance policy and taken out new-for-old cover that indemnifies it for
loss of profits. The eventual payout from the disaster will come to $53
million, or more than three times what a small company controlled by
Rene Rivkin has just paid Kerry Packer for the whole shebang.

Thus
the scene is set for 16 years of action in which police and journalists
in Sydney try to solve two big mysteries. The first: Was the fire
deliberately lit and if so who was responsible? And the second: Who has
made money out of the rocketing share price and, in particular, who owns
a secret parcel of stock worth $26 million that is held by a couple of
Swiss banks.

*

In the first few days after
the fire it became clear that arson would be impossible to prove,
because the damage was so great that any potential evidence had been
destroyed. The police informed the NSW State Coroner that the factory’s
intruder alarm had not been working, but also reported no sign of forced
entry and no trace of accelerants. As far as could be divined, the fire
had started in a metal bin containing chicken bones and solvent-soaked
rags. In the afternoon before the fire, there had been a barbecue on the
factory floor; it was possible that smouldering ashes had been tipped
into the bin and that these had started the blaze.

Intriguingly,
the official police report revealed that an anonymous note had been sent
to the insurance company’s fire investigator. Typewritten on one sheet
of paper, it pointed a finger at “the owner’s father” at Offset Alpine
and claimed a similar blaze had destroyed his El Telegraph
Lebanese newspaper in Marrickville a decade earlier. This person was
identified as the ALP powerbroker Eddie Obeid, who had been offered the
company by Packer before the sale to Rivkin and whose son Paul was a
director, but who did not in fact own any shares.

Unionism: the rank and file rentseekers are a big part of the problem.

Catallaxy Files | To educate, entertain, and inform.

The central issues are clearly about the union movement seeking to
control industries, creating influence for the future politicians in
their hierarchy and the reinforcing synergistic ties with the ALP itself
and the judicial and other appointments they make to bolster their
influence and reward their associates.

The outcome of the union
influence clearly adversely impacts the productivity of the economy by
raising costs.  It is also correct to point out that, loss of revenues
aside, the union hierarchy is indifferent to the workers they represent
losing their jobs as a result of the excessive remuneration and
conditions.

However, the union members are not hapless flotsam being mercilessly
and cruelly exploited.  The union/political/legal Mafiosi have created
entry monopolies into the construction, motor vehicle and some other
industries whereby the union membership is a necessary prerequisite to
getting and holding a job in the sector.  This prevention of competition
allows wages and conditions to be demanded that are well in excess of
the market rates, a matter that the ACCC has refused to address,
preferring instead to confine itself to attacking confected  business
monopolies.

Some of the resultant rents from preventing competition in the labour
supply are creamed off by the union hierarchy and hence their political
supporters who receive campaign donations.  But much, in fact most,
judging by evidence of pay packets goes to the “decent” unionists
themselves.

I wrote
this to Sam De Brito of the SMH who wrote an article today headed
"Herion like returning to the womb"... I wonder if I will get a
reply....

Sam,

My son died of a heroin overdose ten years ago. This e-mail is not for soul bearing but a question.

It is the supplier who causes the deaths, the supplier who makes
money and allows people to die whilst he markets and sells his product
for profit or for his own use.

A heroin user can reform, rarely quickly, but reform they can over many many years.

A heroin seller or supplier is generally caught but not before a percentage of their clients will die.

I know in my heart who is the evil one.

A chap called Coutts-Trotter is the Director General of Docs NSW and
is trying to pass himself off as a reformed addict when he was sentenced
to 9 years jail in WA for heroin source, supply and distribution, along
the way no doubt causing the deaths of a number of people.

I will add that he is married to the deputy leader of the Labor party Tanya Plibersek.

My question is, how in heavens name did this man ever get the job
that heads a government department that looks after our children, after
being responsible for the distribution of a drug the undoubtably caused
the deaths of children in WA? is the world going mad?

This should be investigated and the man thrown out of office.

Kind regards

Royal commission vital to probe union | The Australian

Royal commission vital to probe union | The Australian

Union and opposition calls for legal processes to take their normal
course in dealing with these types of allegations appear naive. They
advocate the pursuit of “rotten apples”. This is a discredited approach
to corruption analysis…

While criminal law retains an important role in attacking corruption,
police investigation and prosecutions alone rarely dent the structures
and cultures that sustain corruption…

A royal commission is better resourced than standing agencies to
undertake a root and branch examination… A royal commission that takes a
systemic approach to the examination of the issues, rather than one
mainly driven by criminal law standards, is less likely to look like a
witch-hunt against either corporate or union interests. It is more
likely to secure co-operation from otherwise reluctant sources holding
important information about corruption and intimidation.

The Crooked Union Boss
Times Record (Troy, New York) Apr 10, 1957

Some points that need to be clearly understood.

1. politicians of all parties are part of the same class. Their class together with the journalists and other dead end jobs form a parasitic elite over normal citizens.

2. the parasite class has no interest in uncovering any corruption. All of them benefit from enterprise corruption (churning and money laundering through big public works projects). All of them benefit from the incompetence and corruption of the police - which covers up their many perversions, illegal acts and treasonous activities. This is why gillard abolished the treason laws - and why Abbott hasn't restored it.

3. using the excuse that there's a law case on foot as the reason why commissions of inquiry etc. should be delayed is ridiculous. The government, pretending to be the Crown (supreme secular authority) can immediately stop any Court case, for pretty much any reason. They won't, because they want to do delay real reform and real investigation as far as possible.

4. until the citizens are prepared for revolution, and to replace the politicians and journalists with people they trust more, nothing will change. It is only the threat of revolution that keeps the power elite remotely honest.

5. Don't fall for the false red pill / blue pill marxist / normal conservative dichotomy. All members of the political class, the journalist class and the big business (monopoly capitalist) class are all fascists, totalitarians, slave owners and the enemy of free markets, free people and free speech.

KEVIN
Rudd and Julia Gillard have been told to prepare to give evidence in
the royal commission into the former Labor government's bungled home
insulation scheme.
Summonses
have reportedly been sent to Mr Rudd, his deputy at the time Ms
Gillard, his finance minister Lindsay Tanner, his environment minister
Peter Garrett, climate change minister Greg Combet, and the assistant
minister charged with co-ordinating government stimulus spending
programs, Mark Arbib.
Former treasurer Wayne Swan was contacted by phone.
All
seven have been advised they may be called to appear before the
inquiry, which is investigating whether the then-government was warned
about the scheme, created to inject money into the economy during the
global financial crisis.
The commission has been given wide-ranging terms of reference to establish "what really went wrong".
It will "fill the gaps" of other administrative reviews and coronial inquests, Commissioner Ian Hangar QC says.

Labor ministers went out in style with their round-the-world goodbye tours | The Australian

LABOR ministers plundered about $2 million on farewell around-the-world tours in the dying months of the Gillard and Rudd governments.

Expenses records released last night reveal swan songs for the former government’s most senior members dominated the almost $3 million overseas travel bill for all senators and MPs reported in the six months to June 30.

While now retired former foreign minister Bob Carr led the way with a $368,000 bill visiting 26 countries, the records also reveal ... the 10-day trip by former climate change minister Greg Combet and ABC newsreader girlfriend Juanita Phillips through France, Belgium and Germany in April has come in at $72,027…

The former NSW MP listed the reason as conducting a “series of high-level meetings” and attending the Towards a Global Carbon Market: Prospects for Emissions Trading Conference.

Labor members held the top 15 positions on the list…
