Black Horizon: Mystery aircraft photographed over Texas - by Steve Douglass

Question: How do you make your adversary take a moment of pause and rethink his military doctrine based on Cold War technology?

Answer: You give him a glimpse, a hint that we haven't just been sitting
on our hands all these years after the fall of the Soviet Union.

The point I'm trying to make - is to the object is to make your adversary lose sleep at night wondering what super weapons the USA has in their arsenal that are far advanced than their own.

You don't trot the show pony out for all the world to see - you don't tip your entire hand because that smacks of propaganda.

Remember when world laughed at Iran's supposed stealth fighter?

But like the shark in Jaws, it was scarier when you couldn't see it -
when you just caught a glimpse of a fin slicing through the water.

I rather like the thought of current leaders of Al-Qaeda tossing and
turning at night, listening for the sound of stealth helicopters
approaching, helicopters they now know exist.

The best weapon IS the one you never have to use.

Bolt never met a socialist he didn't like, but part of his fake package as a commentator is to paper over the general abuses of his class, including the politicians. Hence, no articles on organised paedophilia. Hence, no articles calling for the liquidation as an employed class of bureaucrats. And so on.

Many Damned Things

Many Damned Things

This is from 1942. And yet somehow, World War Two managed to last another three years.

In 1899, the radical French journalist Georges Clemenceau summoned the Gods of the Twentieth Century by mistake.

His newspaper had exposed the Dreyfus Affair, in which the military had
framed a Jewish army captain for a crime of treason committed by a
decidedly non-Jewish major. (The real traitor's name was Esterhazy, and
yes, that's where John le Carré got it from.) This might sound like a
typical example of nineteenth-century race-baiting injustice, if it
weren't for the repercussions, most particularly its role in inspiring
Jewish writer Theodor Herzl to make the defining argument for modern
Zionism. But during Clemenceau's war against antisemitic,
pro-establishment French nationalism, he praised both the
whistle-blowing of intelligence officer George Picquart and the
campaigning of Dreyfus' brother, declaring: "All the world knows that
Colonel Picquart is a hero. But if Colonel Picquart is a hero, Mathieu
Dreyfus is a super-hero!"

The words have been spoken. They can't be un-spoken.

All of which makes the ongoing efforts for the broken american legal system and DC and Marvel to somehow trademark the term super-hero or superhero, which they neither invented nor used for the balance of its existence to date- that would be the French originators, dickheads- disgusting.

Final words from jet came after systems shutdown - Yahoo News

Final words from jet came after systems shutdown - Yahoo News

The
Malaysia Airlines jet took off from Kuala Lumpur in the wee hours of
March 8, headed to Beijing. On Saturday, the Malaysian government
announced findings that strongly suggested the plane was deliberately
diverted and may have flown as far north as Central Asia or south into
the vast reaches of the Indian Ocean.

Authorities
have said someone on board the plane first disabled one of its
communications systems — the Aircraft and Communications Addressing and
Reporting System, or ACARS — about 40 minutes after takeoff. The ACARS
equipment sends information about the jet's engines and other data to
the airline.

About 14 minutes
later, the transponder that identifies the plane to commercial radar
systems was also shut down. The fact that both systems went dark
separately offered strong evidence that the plane's disappearance was
deliberate.

On Sunday,
Malaysian Defense Minister Hishammuddin Hussein told a news conference
that the final, reassuring words from the cockpit — "All right, good
night" — were spoken to air traffic controllers after the ACARS system
was shut off. Whoever spoke did not mention any trouble on board.

Air force Maj. Gen. Affendi
Buang told reporters he did not know whether it was the pilot or
co-pilot who spoke to air traffic controllers.

Armytage used Khloe's baby clothing line to ask how North was
progressing, to which Kardashian answered warmly, "North is fabulous.
She's so beautiful, she's awesome." She added that the cousin "dynamic"
between Kourtney Kardashian's daughter Penelope and North was great to
see, before being abruptly cut off.

The show tweeted that Khloe's handlers had pulled the interview after Armytage's question about North.

Kardashian immediately responded saying, "Get over yourself Sunrise ... stop reaching for a story", and later called the show "f---ing desperate".

The show maintains its position, however. Producer Michael Pell tweeted that the situation was a "good lesson for publicists".

"Don't try to censor natural conversations," he posted.

Armytage and Koch later responded to Khloe Kardashian's
tweets on the show, saying they had been told by their LA bureau that it
had been pulled by her staff because they had strayed from the agreed
questioning. Koch related Kardashian's tweets, which bizarrely pointed
out that Kardashian's Twitter reach of 9.5 million followers was "about
double the size of Rwanda and New Zealand".

Of swings and boundaries - Chris Kenny Blog | The Australian

Of swings and boundaries - Chris Kenny Blog | The Australian

…while we are now seeing widespread surprise in the media and
political commentary, this was all predictably on the cards. And there
are two important lessons to be drawn from that point. First, something
should have been done about it sooner. The electoral commission’s
redrawing of boundaries after each election have clearly not been doing
their job. After 2010, for instance, they should have redrawn boundaries
so that based on those polling booth numbers the same result (51.6 per
cent 2PP) would give the Liberals 24 or more seats. Instead they redrew
them to give the Liberals just 19. In other words, they refused to
deliver the fairness required. The Liberals should never have accepted
this. Second, having accepted those boundaries, the Liberals knew the
marginal seats problem and which seats they needed to win. So they
should have fought better and smarter in those key seats.

Pedophiles Are Still Tearing Reddit Apart

Pedophiles Are Still Tearing Reddit Apart

A controversy is once again brewing on Reddit over moderator protection of its pedophile users. One Reddit user is accusing moderators of AskReddit,
the catch-all subreddit that you're automatically subscribed to upon
registering, of banning people who "out" admitted pedophiles.

The full post
is kind of convoluted, but here is the gist: user A claims that he or
she was banned from AskReddit after noting that user B has admitted to
pedophilia in past posts, in a thread in which user B was defending the
rights of pedophiles in the work place (#reddit). According to
screenshots posted by user A — whose user name is "CoonTown" (#reddit),
by the way — he or she was banned because "pointing out [that] someone
is a pedophile is likely to cause them to suffer the wrath of the
hivemind."

The banned
user, and others in subsequent comments in the thread, are accusing
Reddit of having a double standard when it comes to the protection of
its posters. They allege that Reddit's moderators condone the common
practice of male users bullying female posters by digging through their
post histories in order to re-post nudes from Reddit's many "gonewild" subreddits in non-related threads. One moderator, at least, acknowledges the double standard but nonetheless wipes it away.
"Look
at it this way: you're in a thread, and you see that someone's posted
nudie pics if [sic] the chick they replied to. You have one of two
thoughts - a) "that's pretty creepy", or b) "nice tits". But if you see
that someone has shown that another person is a kiddy fiddler, you're
going to be angry. Now, while you may not, other people will want to
punish that person."

This is just a few moderators of one subreddit, albeit one that reaches nearly 20 million people per month.
The story, though legitimate, could be a minor one. Nonetheless, it
speaks to a problem at Reddit's core that the site has been unable to
completely destroy: that its libertarianism is so deeply poisoned by
misogyny that freedom from harassment is more urgent for child
pornographers than women.

Guest Post: A taxpayer – How the ABC fobs off serious complaints

On Thursday 27th February a complaint was submitted about the 730 TV show’s editorial choices and biases, on Tuesday 4th
March it was answered by the show’s Supervising Producer.  The
complainant was not satisfied with the response and wrote back the same
day.  No answer from the ABC.  Matter closed.

COMPLAINT SUBJECT: 730 Bias and Editorial Decisions

Last night’s 730 (Wed 26 Feb 2014) did not have a political segment
covering the extraordinary events in the House of Representatives today,
namely:

1)    An independent moved a motion to admonish a Shadow Minister.  This is a very rare and important event.

2)    The Government allowed the motion to be debated and put – another rare and event worthy of analysis

3)    The House voted on the motion and passed it.  Thus the House
admonished a Shadow Minister (and Senator) – perhaps a unique event in
living memory.

Obviously these events, in their entirety, were a suitable story for a
leading news & current affairs show.  The segment could have been
presented with comments from both sides of politics, along with comments
from the independent moving the motion.  The original comments, from
the Shadow Minister that gave rise could have been aired, along with the
response from offended subject (an army general) along with the
comments from the Head of the Defence Force stating the comments were
offensive and out of line.  Then analysis by an ABC political reporter
could have been made on the meaning of these events for (a) The
Opposition Leader (b) The Shadow Minister for Defence.

As this segment was not done and aired, all I can conclude is that editorial decisions were made that:

a)    prevented the The Opposition (Australian Labor Party) from being shown in a bad light

b)    prevented the Opposition Leader from being shown to be
cornered/snookered whereby he had to support his Shadow Minister, rather
than condemn his comments – judge by all commentators to have “crossed
the line”.

c)    prevented the Shadow Minister of Defence from being shown in a bad
light.  Although he did withdrawn his original comments – he did not
apologise for the offence he caused to the general, and by extension to
all members of the armed forces who faithfully execute policies of the
Government  (however controversial politically).

The stories covered by 730 on Tue 26 Feb were:

      i.        What’s behind Qantas’ troubles?

ii.        Barnaby Joyce !  says drought support is sign of ‘a caring nation’

iii.        Assistant Health Minister refuses to say if she’s offered resignation

iv.        Could two retail giants become one beast?

Any of which could have been “bumped” to a later night.

The matter raised in this letter was not a usual he says / she says
to and fro of political and policy debate.  It was one Senator making
his own comments and the fallout that ensued for him, his leader and his
party.

By not running any segment on this matter, the 730 has been guilty of
“protecting” the Shadow Minister of Defence, the Opposition Leader and
the Australian Labor party from adverse publicity, and hence the ABC 730
program is guilty of extreme bias in favour of the Australian Labor
Party.

RESPONSE TO COMPLAINT: 730 Bias and Editorial Decisions

Thank you for your feedback regarding the ’7.30′ program on 26 February, 2014.

I agree with you that Andrew Wilkie’s motion to admonish Stephen
Conroy’s comments in the Senate was a big political story on that day,
but it was competing with other stories, each of which had important
policy ramifications.

We did, however, invite the Chief of the Defence Force David Hurley
and Deputy Chief of Army Angus Campbell (to whom the comments were
directed) on to the program to respond to the comments, but both
declined our invitation.  We decided, given 7pm News covered the story,
that without any of those people available for interview, we’d just be
repeating what news’ coverage was.

In terms of the editorial justification for running the other stories:

The Qantas story had to run on the eve of the Qantas results, and as you will have seen since that story has gone to air and Qantas’ profit announcement last week, it has been the most significant political and policy story.  We also felt it was an important opportunity to provide context and explain to our audience how Qantas got into the financial position it’s currently in and the challenges facing the company.
The drought assistance package announced by the government that day was the most significant policy story of the day, and given we have followed the impact of the drought closely, we felt it was important to cover the government’s response to that challenge in our program.
The story on the Assistant Health Minister had to run that night because she had appeared at Senate Estimates that day.
the story on the David Jones and Myer merger is an important business story and had we not run the story including the head of the ACCC Mr Rod Sims’ comments that night, his comments could have dated had the story not run that night.
I hope you’ll continue to watch the program and thanks again for your feedback.

Supervising Producer

7.30, ABC TV

COMMENTS ON RESPONSE TO COMPLAINT: 730 Bias and Editorial Decisions

Thank you for your prompt response to my complaint.  However, I find
your arguments/explanations to be deficient for a number of reasons, as
outlined below.

1)   You say that you invited Generals Hurley and Campbell but they
declined.  They were not the only players in the game and their
declining should/could have been predicted.  Did you invite Senator
Conroy and Senator Cash the two politicians who were present at the
Senate hearing?

2)    Were the senior minister (Mr Morrison) and shadow minister (Mr Marles) asked for an interview?

3)    Could you not have provided analysis on why Senator Conroy,
withdrew his comments, but did not apologise?  And why Mr Shorten could
not, or did not, ask Senator Conroy to apologise?  A discussion of the
importance of Senator Conroy’s factional power base and his relationship
with, or importance to,  Mr Shorten’s leadership power could have
informed your viewers.  Thus, was Mr Shorten asked for an interview?

I postulated that the other stories could have been bumped for a more
detailed analysis of this extraordinary event (I can’t remember an
“admonishment” motion happening before – 730 did not even provide that
analysis – has it ever been done before? When? To whom?)

a)    Context and explanation of QANTAS could have been done after
the profit announcement and Alan Joyce’s speech, when more facts could
have been injected into the story – rather than conjecture from the day
before on what the results may have been.

b)    The drought assistance package was a newsworthy item, current
and worthy of running – perhaps with an explanation of the ‘exceptional
circumstances” declarations now made by the States and how that
currently feeds into Federal Government assistance, i.e. why was the
package necessary at all? What is wrong with the current severe drought
assistance processes?

c)    You say “The story on the Assistant Health Minister had to run
that night because she had appeared at Senate Estimates that day” (why
is that reasoning not applicable to Senator Conroy’s accusation and the
admonishment motion?)

d)    You say “The story on the David Jones and Myer merger … could
have dated had the story not run that night” because of Mr Sims comments
that day (why is that reasoning not applicable to Senator Conroy’s
accusation and the admonishment motion?)  Also there was no outcome in
the merger talk – it was all conjecture and thus less susceptible to
dating)

An answer to the questions posed above would provide me with a
greater understanding of your reasoning, and strengthen your argument
that 730 could not have covered the biggest political story of the day,
to some extent, in 30 minutes of TV.

I will keep watching 730, but I hope that through analyst you can
provide greater insight, rather than just providing a platform for
“talking heads”.

No further response from ABC.  So how is a citizen to get heard when faced with this stonewall defence?

TWO Liberal frontbenchers have
called for changes to South Australia’s voting laws after the party
failed to claim victory last night.

Martin Hamilton-Smith argued that the final make up of the state’s
parliament should reflect the party with the most votes overall.

Mr Hamilton-Smith said it was time for a public discussion on whether the state’s voting laws should be changed.

At the close of counting on Saturday night, the Liberals had over 52 per cent of the statewide two-party preferred vote.

Mr Hamilton Smith said the Liberals had also
won the majority of votes in 1989, 2002 and 2010, but failed to win
enough seats to form government after the polls.

“There is
something wrong with our electoral system where South Australians keep

Evidence of a plot by Malaysian Islamists to hijack a passenger jet in a
9/11-style attack is being investigated in connection with the disappearance
of Flight MH370

An al-Qaeda supergrass told a court last week that four to five Malaysian men
had been planning to take control of a plane, using a bomb hidden in a shoe
to blow open the cockpit door.

Security experts said the evidence from a convicted British terrorist was
“credible”. The supergrass said that he had met the Malaysian
jihadists – one of whom was a pilot – in Afghanistan and given them a shoe
bomb to use to take control of an aircraft.

A British security source said: “These spectaculars take a long time in the
planning.”

The possibility of such a plot, hatched by the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks
on the Twin Towers in New York, was bolstered by an admission by Najib
Razak, Malaysia’s prime minister, that the Boeing 777’s communications
systems had been deliberately switched off “by someone on the plane”.

The South Australian Opposition says the contribution of Independent MP Bernard Finnigan in State Parliament has been inadequate since he was charged with child pornography offences.
The Opposition says 1,000 days have now passed since Finnigan was arrested and resigned as a Government minister.
Shadow Attorney-General Stephen Wade says records show Finnigan has made just two speeches in Parliament since then and has asked no questions nor moved any private member’s motions.
He says Finnigan has been entitled to almost $1 million in salary, superannuation, staffing and other entitlements and has a duty to do his job.
“Mr Finnigan is entitled to stay on the job but he should do the job,” he said.
“I suppose an analogy here is that of Mr Thompson in the Federal Parliament, Mr Thompson was in the Federal Parliament all last year after criminal charges had been laid he made numerous parliamentary contributions.”
Finnigan has pleaded not guilty and is awaiting a ruling as to whether his charges will be stayed.

His lawyer is on leave.

Mr Finnigan is a member of the Legislative Council and his term will expire in 2018.

Missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370: Thailand's growing passport scam - Asia - World - The Independent

The officer who led the investigation told the Bangkok Post that Butt
had paid off senior officials in return for protection. His gang also
reportedly supplied forged passports to Tamil separatists in Sri Lanka
and the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba group, thought to be behind the
2008 Mumbai attacks which killed at least 166 people. Butt was jailed
for 15 years in 2012.

Thailand’s passport scams are said to have
originated in the 1980s, when criminal gangs started stealing and
crudely falsifying passports to cash in stolen travellers’ cheques.
Today they are more sophisticated, with expert forgers inserting
photographs and fake pages into authentic passports, or making fake ones
from scratch using cutting-edge printing technology.

Occasionally,
hard-up tourists will sell or “rent” their passports to the gangs, but
more often they are stolen from bars, hotels and other places where
tourists congregate. Occasionally they go missing after being handed
over when tourists rent motorbikes or jet skis. It said officials have
assembled a blacklist with 1,500 names of known or suspected forgers –
mostly from Iran, Iraq, Syria and Pakistan.

"The Secret Meeting that Changed Rap Music and Destroyed a Generation" | Hip Hop Is Read

"The Secret Meeting that Changed Rap Music and Destroyed a Generation" | Hip Hop Is Read

As the months passed, rap music had definitely changed direction. I was
never a fan of it but even I could tell the difference. Rap acts that
talked about politics or harmless fun were quickly fading away as
gangster rap started dominating the airwaves. Only a few months had
passed since the meeting but I suspect that the ideas presented that day
had been successfully implemented. It was as if the order has been
given to all major label executives. The music was climbing the charts
and most companies when more than happy to capitalize on it. Each one
was churning out their very own gangster rap acts on an assembly line.
Everyone bought into it, consumers included. Violence and drug use
became a central theme in most rap music. I spoke to a few of my peers
in the industry to get their opinions on the new trend but was told
repeatedly that it was all about supply and demand. Sadly many of them
even expressed that the music reinforced their prejudice of minorities.

I
officially quit the music business in 1993 but my heart had already
left months before. I broke ties with the majority of my peers and
removed myself from this thing I had once loved. I took some time off,
returned to Europe for a few years, settled out of state, and lived a
“quiet” life away from the world of entertainment. As the years passed, I
managed to keep my secret, fearful of sharing it with the wrong person
but also a little ashamed of not having had the balls to blow the
whistle. But as rap got worse, my guilt grew. Fortunately, in the late
90’s, having the internet as a resource which wasn't at my disposal in
the early days made it easier for me to investigate what is now labeled
the prison industrial complex. Now that I have a greater understanding
of how private prisons operate, things make much more sense than they
ever have. I see how the criminalization of rap music played a big part
in promoting racial stereotypes and misguided so many impressionable
young minds into adopting these glorified criminal behaviors which often
lead to incarceration. Twenty years of guilt is a heavy load to carry
but the least I can do now is to share my story, hoping that fans of rap
music realize how they’ve been used for the past 2 decades. Although I
plan on remaining anonymous for obvious reasons, my goal now is to get
this information out to as many people as possible. Please help me
spread the word. Hopefully, others who attended the meeting back in 1991
will be inspired by this and tell their own stories. Most importantly,

Missing Airplane Flew On for Hours

Engine Data Suggest Malaysia Flight Was Airborne Long After Radar Disappearance, U.S. Investigators Say

U.S. investigators suspect that Malaysia Airlines 3786.KU -2.04% Flight
370 stayed in the air for about four hours past the time it reached its
last confirmed location, according to two people familiar with the
details, raising the possibility that the plane could have flown on for
hundreds of additional miles under conditions that remain murky.

-----

But the huge uncertainty about where the plane was headed, and why it
continued flying so long without working transponders, has raised
theories among investigators that the aircraft may have been
commandeered for a reason that appears unclear to U.S. authorities. Some
of those theories have been laid out to national security officials and
senior personnel from various U.S. agencies, according to one person
familiar with the matter.

At one briefing, according to this person, officials were told
investigators are actively pursuing the notion that the plane was
diverted "with the intention of using it later for another purpose."

As of Wednesday it remained unclear whether the plane reached an
alternate destination or if it ultimately crashed, potentially hundreds
of miles from where an international search effort has been focused.

-----

A total flight time of five hours after departing Kuala Lumpur means the
Boeing 777 could have continued for an additional distance of about
2,200 nautical miles, reaching points as far as the Indian Ocean, the
border of Pakistan or even the Arabian Sea, based on the jet's cruising
speed. StumbleUpon

Missing MH370: Kelantan duo report seeing lights 'falling' at high speed - Nation | The Star Online

KOTA BARU: The authorities here have their hands full after receiving
at least two reports from the public that they saw an aircraft flying
low on the same day Malaysian Airlines MH370 vanished.

In his
report, the owner of a fishing boat claimed that he saw an airplane
flying low while he was at sea with a friend about 14.4km from Kuala
Besar in Pantai Cahaya Bulan here at 1.30am on Saturday.

Azid Ibrahim, 66, said the aircraft was heading towards international waters.

According to him, the plane was flying so low that he could see the lights “as big as coconuts”.

He said he saw the aircraft with his friend Pak De while five other anglers were asleep in the boat.

In a report which appeared on a local English news portal, a man in
Ketereh, 30km south of Kota Baru, claimed that he saw “bright white
lights” which he believed to be that of an aircraft descending at high
speed at 1.45am the same day the jetliner went missing.

Businessman Alif Fathi Abdul Hadi, 29, said he was in the compound of
his home when he saw the aircraft flying low, heading for Bachok and
descending fast.

My Life in the Glow of The Outer Limits: Episode Spotlight: "The Invisibles" (2/03/1964)

Three
unassuming and anonymous men named Planetta, Castle and Spain are
recruited to join the Society of The Invisibles, a secret organization
conspiring to take over the US government --- and presumably the world
after that --- by exposing key government officials to parasitic
organisms which take over and control their actions. Each of them will
be assigned different targets in different cities. The men are
inoculated against accidental possession by the parasites, but Castle’s
inoculation fails, rendering him deformed and unable to move forward.

Spain and
Planetta are cleared for duty, however, and each are assigned separate
targets in different cities, with the explicit instructions that they
are not to contact one another (they’ve made a pact, however, to meet up
secretly after their respective targets are infected). Spain is
actually an undercover government operative investigating the
Invisibles, and plans to use Planetta as an unwitting contact point
between himself and his GIA (Government Intelligence Agency) superiors.
Spain’s assigned target is Senator Hilary Clarke in Washington D.C. He secures a job chauffeuring Clarke’s
wife thanks to Oliver Fair, an Invisibles agent posing as Clarke’s
aide. Just as Spain’s inoculation wears off, he’s shocked to discover
that Clarke is already a member of the Society, and that the parasite
he’s been hiding in his room is actually intended for him. He manages to sneak off, incurring a broken ankle in the process.

David Stimpson: What It Means To Be An Unmutual

David Stimpson: What It Means To Be An Unmutual

What It Means To Be An Unmutual

    So
what does it mean to be disharmonious, to be an unmutual? Not to want
to join in, to be a part, a reactionary, to be a rebel in fact. Not to
conform to how others think you should, not to "fit in", to be different
to everyone else and have a neglect of social principles.

    As
a long time fan of the Prisoner I have more often than not been
something of a "Lone Wolf". True I was a member of a Prisoner
appreciation society, but at the beginning that was simply so that I
could get my hands on Prisoner merchandise which at the time was
unobtainable anywhere else.

    It
wasn't until nearly 15 years on when things went pear-shaped for me,
that's when I involved myself with politics of that society, as did
others. But as things were trying to come to a head, I could see that
nothing was going to change and that I had been wasting my time. Because
all that had been created at the end was a lot of hot air! So I walked
out, I didn't resign, I walked out and never looked back. And to be
perfectly honest I felt all the better for doing so.

   I
didn't see myself as a trouble maker, as I didn't want anything for
myself, but I did see myself as something of a reactionary. Rebelling
against an appreciation society which had been turned into the village,
and with the regime that went with it. Everything in fact that the
Prisoner stood against, which when you think about it is quite ironic. A
society which stands for its appreciation of the Prisoner, but which
had taken on the guise of the village!

Why there were no 'actors' at the Boston Marathon bombings -- Puppet Masters -- Sott.net

Why there were no 'actors' at the Boston Marathon bombings -- Puppet Masters -- Sott.net: http://www.sott.net/article/262361-Why-there-were-no-actors-at-the-Boston-Marathon-bombings

The Real Evidence Vs COINTELPRO

There seems to be a thread of "fakery" claims that run from 9/11 (the
'blue screen planes' theory) through Sandy Hook (another 'staged event')
and Boston which, when looked at from a broad perspective, seems to
have been deliberately invented and disseminated in order to discredit
the serious evidence for government complicity in these specific
'terror' attacks.

The problem here is that, as concerns the Boston bombings, there is hard evidence that:

  • There was a drill on the day of the marathon
  • There were spotters on roofs and dog sniffing teams
  • There were announcements made about the drills
  • There were two tweets from the Boston Globe on their
marathon update page that "authorities have announced that a controlled
explosion will take opposite the library in 1 minute" (this was two
hours before a bomb went off at that exact location)
  • The FBI have admitted that they had been in contact with the two brothers for about 5 years
  • The NY Times ran an article stating that virtually all previous "terror plots" that were "foiled" by the FBI were actually created by the FBI.
The only evidence that the two Tsanarev brothers were involved in the
bombing is the alleged testimony of Bauman and, more importantly, the
allegation that they killed a policeman a few days later at MIT. All
that is really known is that the policeman, officer Sean Collier, was approached by an unknown person(s)
as he sat in his car and shot multiple times. The only evidence linking
the Tsarnaev brothers to this killing is the claim made by the unnamed
man who was allegedly taken hostage by the brothers after they allegedly
killed officer Collier. The story goes that after he was taken hostage
in his own car by the brothers, the older brother asked him if he had
heard about the Boston bombing. The unnamed hostage replied that he had,
and the older Tsarnaev brother then allegedly said;
"I did that, and I just killed a policeman in Cambridge."
So basically, the only real evidence linking the brothers to the
bombing is the claim by an unnamed alleged hostage that the brothers
made their bizarre confession to him that they had killed Collier and
were responsible for the bombing.

Coincidentally, the traffic cop who was the first on the scene of Colliers murder (officer Richard Donohue) was a close friend of Collier.
Even more coincidentally, officer Donohue was involved later that
evening in the alleged shoot out with the brothers in the Watertown area
of Boston, where he was, coincidentally, the only officer to be shot by "friendly fire". And to round off the coincidence-fest:
"Officer Donohue of the MBTA Transit Police remembers almost nothing
of the night he was shot during chaotic gunfire on a normally quiet
Watertown street, or of the murder of his close friend, MIT police
Officer Sean Collier, hours before in Cambridge."
What are the odds, eh?

Do you know who J. D. Tippit is? J. D. Tippit was the Dallas policeman
who was allegedly shot by Lee Harvey Oswald. The shooting of Tippit was
instrumental in framing Oswald, at least in the public mind, for the
murder of Kennedy.

Jim Garrison stated that, "If Oswald was innocent of the Tippit murder, the foundation of the government's case against him collapsed."

And indeed, it appears that the Warren Commission ignored a lot of evidence in the form of conflicting eyewitness testimony that strongly suggests Oswald did NOT kill Tippit.

That's just some of the hard evidence that could be used to make a case
for the Boston bombings being a govt. operation. But when you add in the
idea that the bombings were actually 'staged' by 'actors', and proceed
to back it up with very subjective 'evidence', virtually all of which
can be exposed as bogus, thereby making those who claim it as 'evidence'
look like fools and/or liars, well....you've destroyed any usefulness
of the hard evidence by associating it with the bogus evidence. For me,
therefore, the 'actors' and 'fakery' meme is more than likely a
deliberate attempt to do exactly that.

Of course, there is the other all-important element, without which
government/intel attempts to spread disinformation would be useless i.e.
the many, many individuals who have bought the story and disseminated
the disinfo. I don't for a second believe that owners of respectable
websites like Globalresearch.ca and many respected bloggers are
consciously playing a part in the disinfo campaign, but the reality is
that they have been aiding and abetting what is most likely a COINTELPRO
operation by giving the 'actors' theory legs (so to speak). I won't
pretend to know why such previously sober and serious journalists and
authors have uncharacteristically been taken in by a con-job (and a
rather obvious one at that), except to hypothesize that, as the world
continues to spiral down into ever-increasing lies, social hysteria and
madness, we may expect to see more and more people begin to 'lose the
plot' in more ways than one.

Vintage Ninja

Vintage Ninja

Zen Combat is a collection of new and re-purposed articles
from late 50s/early 60s martial arts mags, which at the time were more
like trade publications and newsletters for a community of professionals
and ‘pro-sumers’ rather than the media-influenced glossy fare they
became post Bruce Lee. Gluck was an Asian culture expert and practicing
martial artist (travelling in circles with the great Mas Oyama)
living part-time in Japan during a time when all things ninja were
exploding in popularity. His poise is like that of an old-school Rolling
Stones fan wading through a crowd of girls screaming for One Direction.
The result is one of the more honest, if not overly skeptical essays on
the matter you’ll find.

This article wasn’t a cover feature designed to sell magazine copies
during a craze. There is no slant toward any emerging school, pressure
from a publisher not to offend advertisers or effort to fan the flames
of an exploding fad. For that, I think its a valuable read regardless if
one agrees with Gluck’s findings.

The book is out of print, and the author no longer with us, so until Zen Combat becomes a commercial entity again, here’s scans of my vintage copy of the “The Magician: Ninjutsa” [sic] article. Have at it…

Gluck’s personal connection to shinobi history is little more than
family anecdote, but the fish tales actually serve to illustrate a
fundamental frustration with  studying the moving target that is
historical shadow arts and ancient espionage.

Gluck is a bit of a hater here, but aside from dispersions
on “cockeyed karate” experts I really dig his analysis of “dirty
weapons” and the practical truth behind alleged artifacts that populated
the cases of the new wave of ninja museums and tourists attractions.

Interesting that despite looking down his nose at ninja-mania, Gluck
isn’t a debunker. He buys into the black suit, and even makes parallels
with kabuki stage blackout wear, but not a direct connection based on
outright doubt as many have since.

Gluck also embraces the notions of specialized walks and runs as
legit techniques of ninjutsu, seen in a lot of contemporary film and TV
in “that man, he runs like a ninja” scenes. Check out Festival of Swordsmen or any of the Onmitsu Kensin (aka The Samurai) seasons for this.

I absolutely LOVE the line “People may look at him, but they will not see him,” which foreshadows similar notions Joseph Stefano wrote in “The Invisibles” episode of The Outer Limits two years later:

You do not know these men. You may
have looked at them, but you did not see them. They are newspapers
blowing down a gutter on a windy night.

and later,

You do not know these men. You may
have looked at them, but you did not see them. They are the wind that
blows newspapers down a gutter on a windy night — and sweeps the gutter
clean.

Stephano’s prose served as the “control voice” narration at the
beginning and end of an episode centered on secret government agents
battling an even more secret alien invasion conspiracy. Their heroics
will never be known to man, nor will the threat they defeated ever be
realized by a public secure in its ignorance of what almost just went
down.

The “control voice” lines could just as well describe the value of
good ninja, whose genuine exploits are (perhaps to history’s benefit?)
lost in the fog of family anecdotes, fish tales spun by fraudulent
martial artists cashing in on fads and mass media whipping up a big
craze. Or so Jay Gluck postulated…

I’d love to see what he would have written twenty years after the publication of Zen Combat. If Gluck was dubious of all the “last ninja” schools then, what would he have thought of what went down in the 80s?

Our fetishization of supposed “dirty weapons” certainly didn’t fade away, either.

Shipwreck timbers add to mounting evidence that explorers visited New Zealand, Australia, much earlier than generally accepted | News.com.au

Australian historians believe that Dutch explorer Willem Janszoon was
the first European to have reached Australia in 1606, closely followed
by fellow Dutch seafarer Dirk Hartog.

Legend surrounds what may be
an early shipwreck in Armstrong Bay in southwest Victoria. Known as the
"Mahogany Ship", speculation identifies it as a Portuguese caravel.
Attempts to relocate the wreck have since failed.

But no such mystery surrounds the location of the wreck in New Zealand.

The
University of Auckland's Dr Jonathan Palmer, who used tree-ring
techniques to date the ship's timbers, is calling for a full excavation
of the wreck now buried under some 10 meters of sand.

Dr Palmer
told TVNZ his first reaction at seeing the dating results was "Good God,
this could be really important It really needs excavation. It needs to
be an eminent archaeologist".

The ship was discovered in 1982 by a
local mussel fisherman. The wood he salvaged was later identified as
the tropical hardwood Lagerstroemia.

It has only recently been further analysed.

Palmer cites Captain Cook's log books as reporting Maori
traditions of earlier shipwrecks as further evidence such a dig would be
worthwhile.

Cook recited an account by local Maori of "earlier
encounters with Europeans, with the ships having been wrecked and the
survivors killed and eaten".

The exact position of the wreck has
been pinpointed through use of a magnetometer survey. While buried in
sand, the sand bank itself is no longer under water.

"The cannon is one of the most significant historical
artefacts ever found in Northern Australia," geomorphologist Dr Tim
Stone of archaeological group Past Masters told AAP.

An Indonesian
vessel could have been blown off course and on to Australian shores, he
said, and the gun find could represent one such incident.

Metal
analysis tests are being undertaken in Australia and North America to
try to determine the source of the bronze used to cast the gun.

The cannon isn't the only indication of such an event.

Anti-gravity propulsion comes ‘out of the closet’ - UFO Evidence

Anti-gravity propulsion comes ‘out of the closet’ - UFO Evidence

Boeing, the world’s largest aircraft
manufacturer, has admitted it is working on experimental anti-gravity
projects that could overturn a century of conventional aerospace
propulsion technology if the science underpinning them can be engineered
into hardware.

As part of the effort, which is being run out of
Boeing’s Phantom Works advanced research and development facility in
Seattle, the company is trying to solicit the services of a Russian
scientist who claims he has developed anti-gravity devices in Russia and
Finland. The approach, however, has been thwarted by Russian
officialdom.

The Boeing drive to develop a collaborative
relationship with the scientist in question, Dr Evgeny Podkletnov, has
its own internal project name: ‘GRASP’ — Gravity Research for Advanced
Space Propulsion.

A GRASP briefing document obtained by JDW sets
out what Boeing believes to be at stake. "If gravity modification is
real," it says, "it will alter the entire aerospace business."

GRASP’s
objective is to explore propellentless propulsion (the aerospace
world’s more formal term for anti-gravity), determine the validity of
Podkletnov’s work and "examine possible uses for such a technology".
Applications, the company says, could include space launch systems,
artificial gravity on spacecraft, aircraft propulsion and ‘fuelless’
electricity generation — so-called ‘free energy’.

But it is also
apparent that Podkletnov’s work could be engineered into a radical new
weapon. The GRASP paper focuses on Podkletnov’s claims that his
high-power experiments, using a device called an ‘impulse gravity
generator’, are capable of producing a beam of ‘gravity-like’ energy
that can exert an instantaneous force of 1,000g on any object — enough,
in principle, to vaporise it, especially if the object is moving at high
speed.

Podkletnov maintains that a laboratory installation in
Russia has already demonstrated the 4in (10cm) wide beam’s ability to
repel objects a kilometre away and that it exhibits negligible power
loss at distances of up to 200km. Such a device, observers say, could be
adapted for use as an anti-satellite weapon or a ballistic missile
shield. Podkletnov declared that any object placed above his rapidly
spinning superconducting apparatus lost up to 2% of its weight.

Although
he was vilified by traditionalists who claimed that gravity-shielding
was impossible under the known laws of physics, the US National
Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) attempted to replicate his
work in the mid-1990s. Because NASA lacked Podkletnov’s unique formula
for the work, the attempt failed. NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in
Alabama will shortly conduct a second set of experiments using
apparatus built to Podkletnov’s specifications.

Boeing recently
approached Podkletnov directly, but promptly fell foul of Russian
technology transfer controls (Moscow wants to stem the exodus of Russian
high technology to the West).

The GRASP briefing document
reveals that BAE Systems and Lockheed Martin have also contacted
Podkletnov "and have some activity in this area".

It is also
possible, Boeing admits, that "classified activities in gravity
modification may exist". The paper points out that Podkletnov is
strongly anti-military and will only provide assistance if the research
is carried out in the ‘white world’ of open development.
