Did Young Labor supporters lie to hijack the People’s Forum? | Herald Sun Andrew Bolt Blog

GABRIELLE: Good evening, my name is Gabrielle. I have a question for both of you tonight. Handouts to businesses are both immoral and bad economics, which party is committed to stopping the corporate welfare?
The mystery might be explained:

There is a lot of erasure going on of sites, so I haven’t yet been able to verify how legitimate this is. But some explanations seem called for.

Incidentally, how often have we all mentioned that Q&A audiences also seemed to be stacked with many more people of the Left than the ABC claimed with its own head counts? Pretending to be conservative seems to be quite popular.

The Prime Minister’s response:

“When you are preparing for a debate with two or three minutes to go and someone walks in and puts stuff on your face, you smile, you are in the zone, you’re ready to go – I don’t know about you folks but I’m not happy about having make-up put on at the best of days.
“You smile, then two or three minutes later out on the stage to participate in the debate – I think a misunderstanding has occurred and I have no hard feelings in terms of the comments which this person has now withdrawn.”
Rudd has “no hard feelings”. As Tory Maquire says: “Very big of him.”

BBC News - Facebook use 'makes people feel worse about themselves'

Using Facebook can reduce young adults' sense of well-being and satisfaction with life, a study has found.

Checking Facebook made people feel worse about both issues, and the more they browsed, the worse they felt, the University of Michigan research said.

The study, which tracked participants for two weeks, adds to a growing body of research saying Facebook can have negative psychological consequences.

Facebook has more than a billion members and half log in daily.

"On the surface, Facebook provides an invaluable resource for fulfilling the basic human need for social connection. Rather than enhancing well-being, however, these findings suggest that Facebook may undermine it," said the researchers.

Internet psychologist Graham Jones of the British Psychological Society - who was not involved with the study - said: "It confirms what some other studies have found - there is a growing depth of research that suggests Facebook has negative consequences."

BBC News - US Facebook death threats troll: Reece Elliott jailed

A British man who threatened to kill 200 people in the US, in posts he made under a false name on Facebook, has been jailed for more than two years.

Reece Elliott, 24, of Foss Way, South Shields, made the threat in February on online memorial pages for two Tennessee girls killed in car accidents.

About 3,000 pupils in Warren County missed school the next day as a result.

Elliott, who pleaded guilty at Newcastle Crown Court in April, was jailed for two years and four months.

The father-of-one admitted one count of making a threat to kill and eight of sending grossly offensive messages. He had been held in custody since his arrest.

A warning to Internet assassins | Herald Sun Andrew Bolt Blog

A warning to Internet assassins | Herald Sun Andrew Bolt Blog

A couple of warnings to internet trolls:

A tweet published by Sally Bercow about Tory peer Lord McAlpine was libellous, [Britain’s] High Court has ruled.
The wife of Commons Speaker John Bercow tweeted two days after BBC Newsnight wrongly linked a “leading Conservative politician” to sex abuse claims.
Amid widespread speculation about his identity, she wrote: “Why is Lord McAlpine trending. *innocent face*.”
And:

ONE of Australia’s leading plastic surgeons, Chris Moss, ...  has brought a legal action in the Victorian Supreme Court against Craig Rodda, the managing director of a marketing agency, which he claims has driven business away from his practice…

The posts which began late last year on Australia’s largest on-line plastic surgery forum alleged that authentic positive reviews of Dr Moss’ work were fake and had been written by his own staff…
“I was shocked and appalled by the threads containing (false) suggestions that I was dishonest, unprofessional, overcharged clients and that my surgical work was not a high standard ...,” Dr Moss said in an affidavit.
Dr Moss alleges that an individual operating from an IP address at Mr Rodda’s home had created seven different pseudonyms to criticise his work on the forum and encourage others to follow suit.
Dr Moss alleges the posts were made on the instructions of competitors as there were recommendations to other plastic surgeons…
Mr Rodda told The Weekend Australian that the posts were made from his IP address but claimed he was not the author. He said that his defacto wife had admitted making the posts but had done so “innocently for the purposes of research”.

WHEN SOCIAL MEDIA IS A SOCIAL DISEASE - The Pickering Post

WHEN SOCIAL MEDIA IS A SOCIAL DISEASE - The Pickering Post

In the wake of an outrageous attempt to gag the Press, McTernan has arranged through the PM’s office to close Twitter accounts critical of Gillard and censor messages. This was achieved with the cooperation of Twitter’s roving publicist, Mike Brown.

Hundreds of complaints have been made to Twitter about messages being deleted and in some circumstances altered to appear as pro-Gillard Tweets.

Whether serious money changed hands or not cannot be established but why, immediately after a visit from McTernan, did a grubby little Yank going by the name of Mike Brown, start censoring Tweets?
Tweets critical of Abbott have remained untouched. Among those emanating from the PM’s office are particularly offensive such as from the account of AshGhebranious: “They will send Abbott’s daughters to Indonesia to have sex with Ministers till they allow coalition to tow back boats.” That tweet remains.

Another from the same account: “You planning to murder any refugees today? Putting it live stream for your fans” #730# Auspol @MathiasCorman.

There are too many instances to itemise, but these filthy messages remain uncensored while those critical of Gillard instantly disappear.

There have been many posts of incriminating material, regarding Gillard’s involvement in the AWU fraud, simply disappearing from my Facebook page.

No explanation and no reply from Facebook. If I repost I am immediately banned.
I understand that the strapon could be seen as offensive, but not a copy of a fraudulent application form in Gillard’s handwriting.

Thus the website The Pickering Post was born yet that website has also suffered continual hacking and DoS attacks rendering it unusable for days at a time until we can invent ways to stop them.
A female in the PM’s Office by the name of Tadlette and using the account name of “Apparatchik Tads”, appears to be the driving force behind this gutter level of Twitter bastardry.

Tadlette tweeted “Hi @TwitterAU the right wing trolls are posting personal info inciting harassment IRL... please monitor @anonOz1 bit.ly/YJMj8q

Gillard and McTernan’s stated determination to emulate Obama’s re-election using social media techniques is starting to take shape.

There will be much more to come and the PM’s coffers are overflowing with hard union cash.

We are raising a generation of deluded narcissists

We are raising a generation of deluded narcissists | Fox News

On Facebook, young people can fool themselves into thinking they have hundreds or thousands of “friends.” They can delete unflattering comments. They can block anyone who disagrees with them or pokes holes in their inflated self-esteem. They can choose to show the world only flattering, sexy or funny photographs of themselves (dozens of albums full, by the way), “speak” in pithy short posts and publicly connect to movie stars and professional athletes and musicians they “like.”
We must beware of the toxic psychological impact of media and technology on children, adolescents and young adults, particularly as it regards turning them into faux celebrities—the equivalent of lead actors in their own fictionalized life stories.
Using Twitter, young people can pretend they are worth “following,” as though they have real-life fans, when all that is really happening is the mutual fanning of false love and false fame.

Using computer games, our sons and daughters can pretend they are Olympians, Formula 1 drivers, rock stars or sharpshooters.  And while they can turn off their Wii and Xbox machines and remember they are really in dens and playrooms on side streets and in triple deckers around America, that is after their hearts have raced and heads have swelled with false pride for “being” something they are not.
On MTV and other networks, young people can see lives just like theirs portrayed on reality TV shows fueled by such incredible self-involvement and self-love that any of the “real-life” characters should really be in psychotherapy to have any chance at anything like a normal life.

These are the psychological drugs of the 21st Century and they are getting our sons and daughters very sick, indeed.

Newspaper That Published Addresses of Gun Licence Holders Now... Hires Armed Security Due to Fears of Criminal Response —Ace

Ace of Spades HQ

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Those at the paper said they felt alarmed by the responses they were getting, which they considered threatening -- though none of them were actually threats.

But that's the whole point: What the paper did to lawful citizens was throw the spotlight of Internet Fame on to a group of people who'd done nothing to warrant it. The reason those people themselves did not like the Sudden Internet Spotlight is simple: Who knows what wackadoos will come crawling out of the wordwork to wreak some violence against you?

The paper didn't mind doing this to these people -- in fact, I think they intended it. They intended the lawful gun-license holders to feel intimidated, to feel as if their safety was compromised. That's how stalkers impose their wills on their targets-- the target is always aware that malicious intent lurks around them and may strike at any time.*

And now the paper whines because that selfsame loss of the feeling of security, that same feeling that now a dozens of emotionally unstable people might commit random violence in order to vindicate some political point, is now felt by they themselves.

*And THAT is why, like all bullies, they whine and cry like the little bitches they are when you take them on.

Kate hoax call: Scotland Yard contacts Australian police

Scotland Yard has been in touch with Australian police over the death of a nurse from the hospital where the Duchess of Cambridge was being treated for morning sickness.

Jacintha Saldanha, 46, died on Friday, days after she answered a prank phone call from Australian DJs pretending to be the Queen and Prince Charles.

An inquest into the apparent suicide is due to be opened this week.

The firm which owns the radio station is holding an emergency board meeting.

Southern Cross Austereo, owner of 2Day FM, has suspended all advertising on the station until Monday, while DJs Mel Greig and Michael Christian are on indefinite leave.

It's pathetic that it takes members of the elite receiving the usual facebook / media treatment before the laws already in place will be enforced properly, but in any event it's going to be a fucking FANTASTIC 2013 for victims of internet stalkers, me included.

I cannot fucking wait.

Roshanak Taghavi: Rape on U.S. Military Bases Left Unchecked, Documentary Reveals

Roshanak Taghavi: Rape on U.S. Military Bases Left Unchecked, Documentary Reveals

"You always have protection with Jesus," former seawoman Kori Cioca tells the camera, brandishing the long, serrated hunting knife she always keeps in her purse or pocket.

"But sometimes, you need just a little bit more."

Ms. Cioca, who left the U.S. Coast Guard after being stalked, beaten and raped by her supervisor, is one of 36 veterans from the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Army and Air Force documented in The Invisible War, an investigation into the epidemic of rape -- often by serial offenders -- in the U.S. military.

Hey remember that military cyberstalker?

Received a formal reply back from Defence about him: they aren't going to do anything.

Since that didn't kill me with surprise, allow me to explain.

According to the security part of the defence force, the part meant to investigate and police peculiar weirdos like the stalker, they know him, indeed he's a "colleague". IE, they're mates. He works, according to their own testimony, down the corridor from them in the same building.

But you see, this was known beforehand. I KNEW that, asking mates to check on mates, only ever gets one result. Well, one initial result.

What perhaps they in turn did not realise- is that the wounded veteran officer he stalked and harassed is available as a witness, and so is another senior fellow who was also stalked by him.

Put any personal information I might bring to the table to one side.

But consider that two total strangers to me have got this perverted security risk of a timewaster DEAD TO RIGHTS. In writing. Also, IPs and such. Although in this case (there's that word again) I doubt it will ever even require such Sherlockian efforts.

Which in turn means the defence force is gone a million this time. Quite possibly literally given the utterly false statements the pantysniffer's made online. Not to mention the aforesaid stalking of a retired wounded veteran.

And that's not even the half of it.

Dead. To. Rights.

Documented.

So the million dollar question is: when will he be named and shamed? And where?

Hypothetically, it might not even be on this blog, or by me. Since I am the least of his worries as of defence covering up his actions. I am also not the only person who is on the case. Even with every corrupt or incompetent monitor on his activities in his favour, this isn't going away.

At some point some would argue that this situation needs to penetrate his escapist fantasy and bring him back down to earth.

Or of course alternatively he will simply double down on stupid. At this point he has his own National Crime Authority case number. Sky's the limit then really, isn't it?

Pundit Press: FRAUD- Democrat in NC: 'I've Voted Four Times Already'

The democrat explained that he proudly voted illegally "to save our country from the world envisioned by Mitt and his fear mongering followers." You can read the original post below:

Should a military officer REALLY be spending his days in Canberra surfing the internet, fiddling on facebook, stalking people (including a woman- a circumstance of aggravation) as his self-admitted "hobby"?

Quite the statement of facts shaping up over a particular cyberstalker.

And for someone who, through what epic incompetence or corruption we don't know, has had his behaviour ignored by his mates in military intelligence (are they a law unto themselves?), it's going to be pretty weird when he gets served with the AVO etc. if that's the way it goes...

When will we name and shame?

When indeed...

Pervert's Paradise strikes again: BBC News - Facebook flaw bypasses password protections

BBC News - Facebook flaw bypasses password protections

The bug was exposed in a message posted to the Hacker News website.

The message contained a search string that, when used on Google, returned a list of links to 1.32 million Facebook accounts.

In some cases clicking on a link logged in to that account without the need for a password. All the links exposed the email addresses of Facebook users.

Jolly good news for any trusted members of the military who want to waste their time stalking strangers... Especially women, eh?

And just think- your taxes pay the perverts to waste their time breaking the law.

But it's a terrific story, especially the part where a woman is victimised by the same piece of pond scum.

Suspense is fun.

BBC News - Websites to be forced to identify trolls under new measures

BBC News - Websites to be forced to identify trolls under new measures

Websites will soon to be forced to identify people who have posted defamatory messages online.
New government proposals say victims have a right to know who is behind malicious messages without the need for costly legal battles.

The powers will be balanced by measures to prevent false claims in order to get material removed.
Last week, a British woman won a court order forcing Facebook to identify users who had harassed her.
Nicola Brookes had been falsely branded a paedophile and drug dealer by users - known as trolls - on Facebook.

Facebook, which did not contest the order, will now reveal the IP addresses of people who had abused her so she can prosecute them.

The new powers, to be added to the Defamation Bill, will make this process far less time-consuming and costly, the government said.

Complying with requests would afford the website greater protection from being sued in the event of a defamation claim.

The Facebook CIA Cover | New World Order Facebooks Non Privacy Agenda

The Facebook CIA Cover | New World Order Facebooks Non Privacy Agenda

Facebook is CIA-Funded Data-Mining Project:

The prime question to ask is if Facebook is not being used for Intelligence agencies such as the CIA and Mossad? And, why is Chris Hughes on the guest list of the Bilderberg meeting of 2011? Do you really believe the boys from collage are not Zionists and tie themselves with the New World Order agenda considering the history of controversial changes that they were forced to withdraw and change because of public opinion.
Facebook.com has become a One World Global Database under the guise of “social networking” where deluded people put their most personal information OPENLY and VOLUNTARILY…forget using loyalty cards, they can be tracked directly
Facebook’s first round of venture capital funding ($500,000) came from former Paypal CEO Peter Thiel. Author of anti-multicultural tome ‘The Diversity Myth’, he is also on the board of radical conservative group VanguardPAC. The second round of funding into Facebook ($12.7 million) came from venture capital firm Accel Partners. Its manager James Breyer was formerly chairman of the National Venture Capital Association, and served on the board with Gilman Louie, CEO of In-Q-Tel, a venture capital firm established by the Central Intelligence Agency in 1999. One of the company’s key areas of expertise are in “data mining technologies”.
Breyer also served on the board of R&D firm BBN Technologies, which was one of those companies responsible for the rise of the internet. Dr Anita Jones joined the firm, which included Gilman Louie. She had also served on the In-Q-Tel’s board, and had been director of Defense Research and Engineering for the US Department of Defense. She was also an adviser to the Secretary of Defense and overseeing the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), which is responsible for high-tech, high-end development.
With facebook on GPS/smart phones, possibly someday you can Google a Facebook user, and it will tell you their exact precise location…possibly the CIA has this technology available to them now
Wikipedia’s IAO page says: “the IAO has the stated mission to gather as much information as possible about everyone, in a centralized location, for easy perusal by the United States government, including (though not limited to) internet activity, credit card purchase histories, airline ticket purchases, car rentals, medical records, educational transcripts, driver’s licenses, utility bills, tax returns, and any other available data.”. Not surprisingly, the backlash from civil libertarians led to a Congressional investigation into DARPA’s activity, the Information Awareness Office lost its funding.
It would be understandable to view Facebook as the IAO’s new mask considering there are 138 million users as of 2011. Parts of the IAO’s technology round-up included ‘human network analysis and behavior model building engines’, which Facebook’s massive volume of neatly-targeted data gathering indeed allows a convenient replacement.
