Egypt and China: real big allies of the USA going back decades.

"We are afraid some American militarists may press for a nuclear attack on China and we think that the American involvement in Indochina is an insurance policy against such an attack because we will have a lot of their flesh close to our nails.

"So the more troops they send to Vietnam, the happier we will be, for we feel that we will have them in our power, we can have their blood. So if you want to help the Vietnamese, you should encourage the Americans to throw more and more soldiers into Vietnam.

"We want them there. They will be close to China. And they will be in our grasp. They will be so close to us, they will be our hostages. …

"Some of them are trying opium. And we are helping them. We are planting the best kinds of opium especially for the American soldiers in Vietnam. Do you remember when the West imposed opium on us? They fought us with opium. And we are going to fight them with their own weapons. We are going to use their own methods against them. We want them to have a big army in Vietnam which will be hostage to us and we want to demoralize them. The effect this demoralization is going to have on the United States will be far greater than anyone realizes.

Doubleplusungood Chocolate Rectify

"As political and economic freedom diminishes, sexual freedom tends . . . to increase. And the dictator . . . will do well to encourage that freedom. In conjunction with the freedom to daydream under the influence of dope, the movies and the radio, it will help to reconcile his subjects to the servitude which is their fate."

—Aldous Huxley, Brave New World (1948).

Huxley wrote a letter to Orwell in 1949 stating:

"The philosophy of the ruling minority in 1984 is a sadism which has been carried to its logical conclusion by going beyond sex and denying it. Whether in actual fact the policy of the boot-on-the-face can go on indefinitely seems doubtful. My own belief is that the ruling oligarchy will find less arduous and wasteful ways of governing and of satisfying its lust for power, and that these ways will resemble those which I described in Brave New World."

Drug cheats at the Olympics? Well I never.

London Olympics: Clare Balding's questions over the 400m triumph by Ye Shiwen | Mail Online

Should be awesome drug cheating in the athletics. London has fewer drug tests than ever before, and since there are usually almost none, especially for non-white athletes, this year's games promise a lot of legitimate records. Oh yeah.

Senator Conroy and the fascist takeover in Australia

14 Signs of a Fascist State

6. Controlled Mass Media

Sometimes the media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives.

Conroy cries over spilt milk (spilled before he was born) but is a key actor in the fascist takeover of Australia.

For people who are still trapped in the false left-right dichotomy and therefore think the socialists of the ALP aren't fascists because they're leftists- you need to do a bit more reading.

Substance D(MT)

The Stargate Conundrum

With the illegalisation of drugs, DMT was also made illegal. This, in itself, was strange. Not only that: DMT was a Schedule I compound, thus outperforming cocaine. Officially, it also has no proven medical application. DMT, furthermore, is not addictive – and if it was, it would only be in the sense that people want more and more trips – long for them. Like a cigarette. In fact, the full effects of a DMT trip last less long than the smoking of a cigarette.
Why did the US legislation go overboard on this drug? Why make it a top-grade drug? Was it because they wanted it all to themselves? After all, if, as argued, DMT potentially allows limitless knowledge, do we want everyone to access that knowledge archive? Or do we want to seriously limit access to it? In the latter scenario, grading it a Schedule 1 drug, would be a most logical scenario. And do we need to see the actions of the US Government in its treatment of DMT as a stand-alone event, or do we need to see it in light of the Remote Viewing project and other drug projects, such as MK-ULTRA?
As McKenna stated, “Psilocybin and DMT were made Schedule 1 without any scientific evidence at all being presented for or against their use.” Schedule 1 is the most restrictive category, resulting in the fact that even medical research was virtually impossible, as Rick Strassman had discovered. Rather than over-reacting, the government had made sure all possible usage of DMT was strictly controlled – and withheld from the American population. In short, the US government tried to outlaw a drug that is present in almost every fabric of our reality. It is a psychic drug. Not the only one, but the most potent one, and the one native to all of us…

Obama, The Postmodern Coup -- Making of a Manchurian Candidate, by Webster Griffin Tarpley, at The Ralph Nader Library

Obama, The Postmodern Coup -- Making of a Manchurian Candidate, by Webster Griffin Tarpley, at The Ralph Nader Library

"Where did you get a public opinion that we should fully disarm and then, according to some theoreticians, such as Brzezinski, divide our territory into three or four states? If there is such a public opinion, I would disagree with it." -- Russian President Vladimir Putin, June 4, 2007.
This book exposes Obama, but it does so from a standpoint that is fundamentally different from almost all other critical studies seen so far. This book exposes and refutes Obama from the left. In this book, the vague and vapid messianic and utopian platitudes, the lemming legions, the personality cult, the narcissism, the megalomania, the fake polling, the media and intelligence agency manipulation which are the essence of Obama and his campaign of mass manipulation are criticized thoroughly, but always from a standpoint which reaches back to the Franklin D. Roosevelt New Deal, in many ways the best government that America has ever known. The basic thesis shared by the authors of this book is that Obama is a right-winger, an elitist, a creature of Wall Street, and a deeply troubled personality, running far to the right of his main opponent, Sen. Clinton, on all major issues, including the two critical areas of economics and foreign policy. Obama's ultra-left components, concentrated in social and energy policy, are an ideological camouflage which only accentuates, and does not alter, his overall pro-Wall Street profile. Obama is a right-winger, and this book criticizes him from the left. This, it turns out, is by far his most vulnerable flank in today's crisis of simultaneous wars and economic depression.
Other studies of Obama can be divided into three main groups. First are those which approach their subject with transparent adulation and hero worship. This is the majority of the treatments of Obama coming out of the liberal and left liberal community, and these studies are so biased as to be basically worthless. The authors are often the limousine liberals and wealthy elitists and their publicists, and these persons tend to make up Obama's most devoted base.

The rightists speculate that Obama will surrender to the supposed global jihad, whereas his true goal is to launch his own apocalyptic global hyper-jihad against Pakistan, China, and Russia, in conformity with the prescriptions of his guru and svengali, the marplot Zbigniew Brzezinski. Obama is the darling of the failed and bankrupt elites: Brzezinski, Jay Rockefeller, George Soros, Paul Adolph Volcker, General Merrill "Bomb Now, Die Later" McPeak, Joseph Nye of the Trilateral-Bilderberger complex, and the notorious ruling class cover-up artist Lee Hamilton are all in Obama's amen corner. The right-wingers then try to portray Obama as a Moslem, whereas he obviously worships at the Ford Foundation Church of the Counterinsurgency, where the racist provocateur Jeremiah Wright purveys a Gnostic synthetic religion totally distinct from both Christianity and Islam. They try to portray Obama as a left liberal, whereas he exhibits in fact many of the features of what is being increasingly recognized as postmodern fascism. All of these right wing and neocon attempts to understand the Obama phenomenon are thus crippled by an attempt to make this candidate and his supporters fit into ideological schemes left over from the Cold War, or else from the post-9/11 era. But the Cold War is long gone, and the post-9/11 era is rapidly fading into yesterday's headlines, even as the Brzezinski faction gears up for the global showdown with Moscow, Beijing, and the other capitals of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
The net result of all the right-wing and neocon studies of Obama is to vastly underestimate the danger that he poses, both in terms of world-wide thermonuclear confrontation (the likely outcome of Brzezinski's endgame), as well as in terms of the transformation of the U.S. society and economy towards postmodern fascism. The postmodern fascist danger is not confined to Obama: the radical environmental charlatan Al Gore has just announced his intention to spend $300 million to create a private army of 10 million: Malthusian fanatics who will coerce politicians and society in general into implementing global warming countermeasures. These will obviously include reductions in the standard of living, and speculative bonanzas for Gore and his clique of elitists. Gore's Green Army will be available for strikebreaking. It might also undertake a March on Washington in the spirit of Benito Mussolini's October 1922 March on Rome. Will Gore's environmental storm troopers wear green shirts? If they do, they will join the tradition of the green-shirted Romanian Iron Guards of Codreanu, an imitator of Il Duce. Not surprisingly, Obama has announced that Gore will be prominent and influential in the future regime of the Illinois messiah.

Communism: Cool story bro

"Communism got to be a terrible word here in the United States, but our attitude toward it may have been unfair. Communism got in with a bad crowd when it was young and never had a fair chance...
The Communist ideas of creating a society in which everyone does his best for the good of everyone is appealing and fundamentally a more uplifting idea than capitalism. Communism's only real weakness seems to be that it doesn't work."

The 14 Defining Characteristics Of Fascism

Dr. Lawrence Britt has examined the fascist regimes of Hitler (Germany), Mussolini (Italy), Franco (Spain), Suharto (Indonesia) and several Latin American regimes. Britt found 14 defining characteristics common to each:

1. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism - Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.

2. Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights - Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.

3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause - The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial , ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.

4. Supremacy of the Military - Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.
5. Rampant Sexism - The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Divorce, abortion and homosexuality are suppressed and the state is represented as the ultimate guardian of the family institution.

6. Controlled Mass Media - Sometimes to media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.

7. Obsession with National Security - Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.

8. Religion and Government are Intertwined - Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed
to the government's policies or actions.

9. Corporate Power is Protected - The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.

10. Labor Power is Suppressed - Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed.

11. Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts - Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts and letters is openly attacked.

12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment - Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations.

13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption - Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders.

14. Fraudulent Elections - Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections.

Gunwalker did what it was supposed to do...

ot of

A five-year long struggle to penetrate the mysteries of  two huge drug busts in Mexico on American-registered planes may soon receive answers, courtesy an unlikely source: a Congressional investigation into Operation Gunwalker, an ATF program with no discernible law enforcement purpose that allowed arms traffickers to smuggle 2000 weapons across the border to Mexican drug lords.
If the CIA is arming Mexican drug cartels, might they not also have been behind the otherwise-puzzling effort to supply these same drug lords with top-quality American-registered airplanes and jets?
Were the two now-infamous American-registered planes busted in Mexico's Yucatan carrying almost ten tons of cocaine part of this same so-far unnamed Operation behind the ATF's Operation Gunwalker?
The operation first came to light last December, when guns the ATF allowed to go to Mexican drug cartels were used to murder Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.
Last week it was clear that Atty. Gen. Eric Holder has apparently chosen acting ATF director Kenneth Melson to take the fall. Melson seems understandably reluctant to go down for a program which he had little or nothing to do with originating.
"The evidence we have gathered raises the disturbing possibility that the Justice Department not only allowed criminals to smuggle weapons but that taxpayer dollars from other agencies may have financed those engaging in such activities," said embattled acting ATF director Kenneth Melson.
Embattled no more...
Embattled Ken Melton dropped a dime on the CIA.
In secret testimony late last week to a Congressional Committee investigating the 4-year old program, Melton, in addition to naming the DEA and the FBI as the Agencies behind the operation of which the ATF's "Operation Gunwalker" is but a small part, alluded to "shadowy other government agencies,"the very definistion of the CIA.
There's also this: Operation Gunwalker has no discernible law enforcement purpose which can be explained without snickering.  So what was its purpose?

Cold dead citizen's hands just twitching for a fight

Right-wing "thinkers" lean heavily towards the purpose being a plot which somehow results in more firearm restrictions on U.S. citizens.
Unless you think there are people out there who drool while contemplating tearing rifles from the hands of cold dead citizens (or vice versa) the suggestion is ludicrous without people eager to destroy their careers in vain efforts to achieve it.
There are no such people. A much better guess at it's purpose is this:
The purpose of Operation Gunwalker is to do exactly what it has now been proven to have been successful in achieving: placing large quantities of high-quality lethal weaponry in the hands of Mexican drug lords.
This raises a question: If the CIA is arming Mexican drug cartels, might they not also have been behind the otherwise-puzzling effort to supply these same drug lords with top-quality American-registered airplanes and jets?
Were the two now-infamous American-registered planes busted in Mexico's Yucatan carrying almost ten tons of cocaine part of this same so-far unnamed Operation behind the ATF's Operation Gunwalker?
It's a revelation I was planning to save for my upcoming book. But it especially pertinent now. Without a shadow of a doubt I can report that the DC-9 from St. Petersburg whose mysterious flight to South America was cut short by its seizure in the Yucatan while making its way back was owned and controlled at all times pertinent to this discussion by the Central Intelligence Agency.
The DC-9 belonged to the CIA.  And I have the documents to prove it.

A kicker from Wisconsin, not far from Wally Hilliard

It is the emblematic drug story of our times...
Nothing like it has been seen since the day Eugene Hasenfus broke the rules and brought a parachute with him when he went to work, one day in March of 1986, aboard a C-130 military cargo plane, dropping supplies to the Contras over Nicaragua.
Hasenfus was a ‘kicker.’ His technical specialty in flight was kicking cargo pallets out the open cargo door of the lumbering four-engined plane as it made low passes over the jungle.
A Sandinista soldier on the ground got off a lucky shot with a shoulder-fired missile. As the plane began to fall out of the sky Hasenfus grabbed his parachute and leaped out the open door.
Everyone else on the flight perished. Hasenfus was supposed to have done what they did. The reason became clear minutes later when he's captured by the Sandinistas. Shortly thereafter, Hasenfus tells his captors he is working for the CIA.
And boom! The Iran Contra Scandal began.

Agatha Christie type question about JFK

The voice over puppet "reporting" on JFK's arrival at a presentation made a big deal out of McKinley's assassination, going to the effort of reading a long dissertation on it.

McKinley was an irrelevancy of a man, forgotten rightly by history.

So why make a big deal of THAT assassination?

There was only one assassination that Americans focused on before JFK.

Lincoln.

So why focus on McKinley and not Lincoln?

Media mind control of course. Don't be fucking obtuse.

McKinley was murdered by a lone nut called Leon.

Lincoln was the victim of a fairly complex assassination conspiracy.

It was much too dangerous to plant any seed relating to the true organisation of murder around JFK. What had to be put out there, especially by LBJ controlled media and CIA controlled media, was the lone nut lie.

But... the on air reading of the McKinley red herring occurred BEFORE the JFK assassination.

How interesting. StumbleUpon

Afghanistan 1843

In 1843, the British army chaplain Rev G.H. Gleig wrote a memoir of the disastrous (First) Anglo-Afghan War, of which he was one of the very few survivors.

He wrote that it was

"a war begun for no wise purpose, carried on with a strange mixture of rashness and timidity, brought to a close after suffering and disaster, without much glory attached either to the government which directed, or the great body of troops which waged it. Not one benefit, political or military, was acquired with this war. Our eventual evacuation of the country resembled the retreat of an army defeated”

Politics explained in one simple graphic

You have your basic choices- red or blue pill (the all important difference between conservative and socialist) or if you are a real deep thinker there's green, or even the single issue lunatics - pink for the gay agenda, brown/red for the self avowed communists, turquoise/olive drab for the immigration issue-

The main thing, the CRUCIAL thing, is to pick one and take it regularly.

Remember, if you don't self medicate, you won't get to play.

And no, under our political-media system, refusing to take any pill is not an option. Duh. StumbleUpon
