Next is the government’s pre-election pledge to make
changes to section 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act, the
Labor-enacted hate speech law that was used (illiberally) to go after
Andrew Bolt… Recall that this section has four triggers that undercut
free speech. Those triggers are the words ‘insult’, ‘offend’,
‘humiliate’ and ‘intimidate’....

But rather than get rid of all four, and repeal the entirety of 18C (which analogously did happen in Canada federally), the talk now
is of how the government might keep the prohibitory words ‘humiliate’
and ‘intimidate’ and either repeal or replace ‘offend’ and ‘insult’. Let
me be blunt. Such a craven compromise is in no way at all the choice of
a government committed to free speech. It basically is window dressing,
leaving the Labor inroads into free speech pretty much where they are.

Try this test Mr Attorney-General. Tell us precisely what the difference
is between offending or insulting someone and humiliating someone. The
fact is our AG cannot differentiate them… So if this government opts for
this sort of half-hearted compromise, it cannot with a straight face
also pretend such cosmetic changes somehow meet its free speech pledge.
Same trial, same judge, same Andrew Bolt, and Bolt still loses if all
that is changed is that the focus is on ‘humiliate’ rather than ‘offend’
or ‘insult’.

I won’t even bother here to do more than mention that the
Attorney-General rather incredibly seems to be mooting adding, yes
adding, some brand new speech restricting criminal law provision — the old one being for him too narrowly drawn or something. Why, you might wonder, are we hearing
these backtracking noises? Alas, I fear the government just can’t be bothered to take on the vested interests.

 We are allowed to get upset when intellectually impaired children are excluded from across the board testing (Naplan) in an effort for a school to post an artificially inflated score.

It is unquestionably wrong for a school to discriminate against disabled children in order to appear as though their students are outperforming their expectations. Why are we so afraid to apply the same logic when discussing Aboriginal students?  At present, should you dare to point out that disadvantaged, dark skinned Aboriginal children are being excluded in much the same way from programs such as AIME to keep their success rates high, you will be denounced loudly by every fauxborigine with a Twitter account.

Accusations of racism if you admit to being non-Indigenous, and, a perpetrator of lateral violence if you happen to be black like I am.  Personally, I despise a term like lateral violence being levelled at me by someone with pale skin.  The term implies that the accuser and myself are on an equal footing, when clearly, we are not.  I cannot hide what I am, they can and do.  Even if they have 'identified with their culture practically from birth' (a readily coined phrase by many in the 'Industry'), it makes no difference.

They demand every Caucasian person in Australia admit that they are the beneficiaries of White Privilege, yet refuse to accept that simply by virtue of their own pale skin, they too are the recipients of this very same Privilege.  Hypocrisy at its finest.

Reverse Cultural Imperialism

Yesterday, nine “Asian” men were convicted of conspiracy and rape of under age girls in Rochdale and Oldham. It is no surprise to me or anyone else who lives where I live.

I live in a dreary, post industrial East Lancashire town. I grew up here. It is a world as far away from “iDave” and the Oxfordshire set or “Milibland” and “Utter Balls” as it is impossible to imagine.  It is “multiculturalism” in action. That is to say there are white ghettos where the white underclass live, and “Asian” (really Pakistani) ghettos where the Pakistanis and Bangladeshi’s live.

There are no Indian or Chinese ghettos because they are largely middle class and have all become Consultants and Solicitors (a slight exaggeration but you take my point).

It is no news to the inhabitants of this town that this has been going on. In fact this is about the third such trial that I have heard about (and that is heard about, because the Powers that Be are very sensitive about letting such matters into the public domain).

But there is another side to this. Here is a link to an interview with the father of one of the victims of rape, broadcast on Radio Five Live’s Drive programme yesterday. The interview is just after the 5.00 pm news. The gentleman is clearly a free thinking radically liberal parent, intent on allowing his daughter to explore her own self, and confront important issues such as alcohol and smoking in her own way.

For those of you who are unable to access it for copyright reasons or because it has “expired”, let me quote directly from her wise and trusting father about what happened to her daughter:

“What happened was…she would go to the kebab shop with the other girl. They [the men] would be friendly, they would sit they would chat. They’d give them free food, they’d give them free beer, free cigarettes. All of this seemed fine….They would give them lifts…”

No, it is not. It is not OK to let your teenage daughter hand out in kebab shops with much older men who give her “free” food and ply her with “free” alcohol and cigarettes and give her “lifts,” you moron, it is a dereliction of your parental duties. You deserve prison almost as much as these rapists.

On another front, there have been plenty of voices keen to distinguish the crime from race and culture. The Police, for example, insist race was not an element of the case.

It is an open secret that Pakistani Muslim men target stupid, feckless white teenage girls.

There is a significant problem amongst some sections of working class Muslim men of Pakistani and in this case Afghan background. Most of the men involved in these crimes were married with children. These men, however, look at these young white girls as unclean from the start. They are “Kafir”, non-Muslim, and thus of no account anyway. The fact that they can be bribed or pressured in sex with the aid of booze and cigarettes (and in plain terms raped) just proves the point.

This case represents in a wider sense an act of priapic cultural victory by an immigrant community over the white underclass, which is doomed.

Well done, Britain. Thanks a lot.

Lest you think these people are crazy as a loon, (which they are), here’s the official explanation from the Regime:

Our nation’s vision of homeland security is a homeland that is safe and secure, resilient against terrorism and other hazards - where American interests and aspirations, and the American way of life can thrive. In seeking to fulfill this vision, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) aspires to avoid burdening minority and low-income populations with a disproportionate share of any adverse human health or environmental risks associated with our efforts to secure the nation.

What a complete crock of crap.

Since when is terrorism a mere “hazard,” – comparable to environmentalist wacko-ism? The “American way of life”? As defined by whom – Barack Obama, Al Gore and the rest of the greenies? And – why must the Divider-in-Chief single out – as he always does – “minority and low-income populations”? And their “disproportionate share”? That “efforts to secure the nation” part is hysterical as well. How low of a common denominator are these people playing to?

The DHS document also lists concerns such as “climate change” and “melting Arctic ice,” despite recent reports confirming that the amount of floating ice in the Arctic’s Bering Sea “reached all-time record high levels last month,” according to the US National Snow and Ice Data Center. Then again, liberals never let facts or data get in the way of “securing the nation” according to their agendas, do they?
