Kid Celephais - background briefing- possible etymology for Celephais and Kuranes
Celephais- is it a scramble of Caiaphas ("Searcher")?
It would fit beautifully, wouldn't it? Because the nameless (in the waking world) hero of Celephais is nothing if not a searcher!
Kuranes- Ouranes- Uranes- Uranus or Kronos?

Kuranes- Ouranes- Uranes- Uranus or Kronos?
Ouranos was the first ruler of the universe, created by Gaea when she emerged from Chaos. Ouranos, with Gaea, became the father of the Titans, the Cyclopes and the Hecatoncheires (hundred-handed ones).
Ouranos was afraid that some of his children would rebel against him, so he imprisoned them within Gaea's earth womb. Kronos, the youngest of the Titans, freed his siblings by castrating his father. Ouranos' blood gave birth to the Furies, and Aphrodite was born of the discarded member when it fell into the foaming sea.
KRONOS (or Cronus) was the Titan god of time and the ages, especially time where regarded as destructive and all-devouring. He ruled the cosmos during the so-called Golden Age, after castrating and deposing his father Ouranos (the Sky). In fear of a prophecy that he would be in turn be overthrown by his own son, Kronos swallowed each of his children as soon as they were born. Rhea managed to save the youngest, Zeus, by hiding him away on the island of Krete, and fed Kronos a stone wrapped in the swaddling clothes of an infant. The god grew up, forced Kronos to disgorge his swallowed offspring, and led the Olympians in a ten year war against the Titanes, before driving them defeated into the pit of Tartaros.
Simonides, Fragment 511 (trans. Campbell, Vol. Greek Lyric IV) (C6th to 5th B.C.) :
"Kronos (Time) child of Ouranos (Sky)."

Kid Celephais #1
Dream-Lands, 1937 boarding school, a flooded mine pit from Medieval times, and a school staff featuring some very strange coves...
25 cent ashcan full colour version, 33 pages.
When his heroic parents are asked by British Intelligence to go to Spain in 1937 just before Guernica, Aelfred Sixpenny is sent off to boarding school at the Priory School in Souther England.
There he encounters new friends, strange enemies and a new "imaginary friend" - a "red-furred spirit of mischief" as one mysterious stranger calls him... Nee the Yeren!
