Coordination: a Nazi concept at work in the Pentagon

Pentagon documents pass through a gauntlet of reviewers, each one examining and weighing the significance of the smallest comma, ironing out idiosyncrasies until the document resembles dull, gray, luke warm bath water.  The process is called "coordination."
