The Jinn
The activities described on this page are well-known in the Islamic traditions, which ascribe them to a non-human yet earthly species which they term The Jinn.If we may be permitted to summarize the vast literature on Jinn in a few lines, we might do that as follows:
- Created of "smokeless fire", far in advance of any human race
- Largely hostile to humans, who they feel have usurped their ownership of Earth
- Some may be friendly to humans
- Largely confined to a non-physical dimension
- Some can operate on the physical plane, where they can assume any desired form
- Best assumed extremely dangerous; consorting leads to insanity or death
- Although best described in the Qur'an, descriptions can be found in other "sacred" literature, under various names
- ALL descriptions must be handled with great care
- Activities are thoroughly confounded with reports of UFO and other ET activities
First, the basic Wikipedia introduction: Jinn.
For the current literature, a fine start would be with The Jinn, with special attention to its feature article World's Greatest Hoax.
Extremely important, if dated: Jacques Vallee Discusses UFO Control System.
