Given that the only legitimate reason for the car factory work for the dole schemes for unionists is so we can make war materiel in times of war, it would be far cheaper for the government to just run the factories as trade schools and cut out the car manufacturers completely.
That way we have the factories without all the socialist scum.
Because remember, big business ie monopoly capitalism is the best friend of socialism. And together they form fascism.
