It was as though at the end of the Lord of the Rings the good guys killed all the orcs, but said, "wow these evil wizards have some cool stuff. we should totally set them up in our cities with some nice towers and lackeys and stuff. what possibly could go wrong?"

And as Truman noted, the FBI, already the Nazis' favourite Americans (Himmler had an autographed picture of J Edgar Hoover on his wall- wonder if that will be in the disinfo movies sure to appear around the 50th anniversary of JFK murder) turned into the full blown American Gestapo.
As for Ellsberg and Snowden- both are disinfo agents. As is the wikileaks farce- odd what it reveals and what it doesn't.
