GG Bryce gets honorary PhD | The Australian
CANBERRA, March 16 AAP - Australia's Governor-General Quentin Bryce has been awarded an honorary doctor of laws for her many achievements over 40 years of leadership and civic roles.
The governor-general was awarded the Doctor of Laws (honoris causa) from the University of Melbourne at a graduation ceremony for students from Melbourne Law School, Faculty of Business and Economics and the Melbourne Graduate School of Education.
Dean of the law school, Carolyn Evans said the honorary doctorate was due recognition of Ms Bryce's long list of achievements.
