police investigation over his behaviour towards young children at footy

Jaffari was convicted and placed on the sex offenders register for 15
years over the assault of a boy at Geelong’s Eastern beach in August but
received just 300 hours of community service.

In January he was accused of child stealing and unlawful assault of a four-year-old girl at a Geelong West oval…
When interviewed, Jaffari told police: “For us, is not an issue.”
Magistrate Ron Saines stood the matter down in March, advising police if
he were hearing the matter he would have reasonable doubt finding
Jaffari guilty, citing cultural differences.
The charges were dropped.
