Most of those on the boat he took to Australia, he thinks, were planning to give false accounts of their lives in order to qualify for refugee status
 
Now if only our home-grown and imported activists could be brought to realise the same and that they have been encouraging the outflow from the countries of origin of their more able and motivated people.
Activists should instead concentrate their efforts on improving the conditions in those countries or on worthy persons and causes at home (e.g. the homeless, the disadvantaged, the disabled and others not favoured by circumstance and who need help to progress).

But then that’s not globally fashionable and won’t fit their agenda which in a good many cases is to alter Australia’s societal makeup and re-engineer the country’s future.
